About SafeSpace Connect
SafeSpace Connect is an initiative of the Warien Rose Foundation, designed to bridge the gap between GBV survivors and essential services. We provide a secure, user-friendly digital platform where survivors can find medical assistance, legal aid, psychosocial counselling, safe housing, and government-related services.

SafeSpace Connect was conceived in response to the lived realities of teenagers and young adults in Jikwoyi, Abuja, where limited access to trusted information, protection systems, and support services left many vulnerable, particularly survivors of gender-based violence.
In this environment, the consequences of silence were profound. Stigma discouraged reporting, isolation deepened suffering, and the absence of clear support pathways left many without direction or care.
What began in Jikwoyi has evolved into a nationwide intervention. SafeSpace Connect is now designed to serve individuals across Nigeria, ensuring that access to safety, trusted information, appropriate referrals, and support is not determined by where a person lives.
Ambition
To create a Nigeria where every person, regardless of location or circumstance, can access justice, healthcare, protection, and psychosocial support without fear, stigma, or barriers.
From its beginnings in Jikwoyi, Abuja, SafeSpace Connect has grown with a national vision: to create a trusted support ecosystem that reaches people across urban centres, underserved communities, and remote locations throughout Nigeria.
