SafeSpace Connect is a flagship initiative owned by the Warien Rose Foundation and managed by Sunday Sanusi-Agbabiaka, a transformational leader and emerging voice in the field of social impact. Sunday is also a student of the Warien Rose Academy, where he continues to build his expertise in community development and data-driven advocacy.
The platform was created in response to the pressing challenges faced by teenagers and young adults in the Jikwoyi Community of Abuja, where limited access to information and support services left many vulnerable—especially survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). Feelings of isolation, confusion, and helplessness were common, with few clear pathways to help.
SafeSpace Connect was developed to change that narrative. It provides a secure digital environment where survivors can find support, share their experiences without stigma, and access timely assistance. The platform connects users with a growing network of over 50 vetted service providers, offering critical resources and services that promote healing, empowerment, and resilience.
