FACT-FINDING AND PROGRESS OF THE NATIONAL GBV DASHBOARD AND THE NEED TO ACCOMOMDATE SAFESPACE CONNECT APP

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), led by Onyinye Ndubuisi, Head Human Rights and Gender, visited the National Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Situation Room headed by Mr. Sunday S-Agbabiaka, the national Data Manager, for a fact-finding mission regarding the functionality and progress of the National GBV dashboard and opportunities for support and collaboration on the SafeSpace Connect App. This meeting, which took place at the National GBV Situation Room Thursday, 21st April, 2026 focused on expansion of the National GBV dashboard to serve as a one-stop shop for optimal service delivery, understanding of the proposed SafeSpace Connect, provision of technical and logistical support for the SafeSpace Connect App, capacity building for stakeholders on the use of the App to effectively harvest relevant data for possible interventions as well as mapping of service providers for survivors of Gender-Based Violence at both national and State levels
